Trip to Oregon

Well we just got home from almost 2 weeks in OR. Amazing that we have gone twice in the last 2 months, something that would have happened maybe 2 times in 4 years from Alaska. We went straight to Prineville to my parents house. Worked on the Ranch most of the time, building an outhouse, digging 2 successful springs, and hauling and burning brush. The kids LOVE it out there. We don't even hear from them the whole time unless they are hurt or hungry. Then we hit a Children's Museum in Bend after Sheena and the boys arrived. Really fun and easy. We headed over to Portland to be with Clint and his family for a few days. Went to the Zoo for a very exhausting day, wont be going back for a while, it was a lot of work for what it was. Children's museum MUCH better, for our kids anyway. Then we were back in Priveville for the end of the trip. Then on the road again "Home". Weird to call this home, seems like we are coming home to a really nice hotel or something. But its getting there.

I saw a great quote lately that will help with the "home" thing. "Home is where your mom is at." So maybe living in AK is a bit different than that (we tend to have a hard time relating to anything but mts, rivers, misquiots, and amazing views to home) but to your little ones...HOME is where YOU are at. Think about that one missy! ;) Love you~Michelle

I am so glad you are blogging! Now we Alaskans can keep up with your family. We miss you and hope you are loving Washington. The fish are just starting to hit the Kenai, so it's crazy around here!! :)
